Welcome to

Warped Minds Press

Warped Minds is the home of books and essays by David L. Page, Ph.D. Writing and self-publishing have become Dave’s favorite hobby, a development that keeps him from driving his wife, Lisa, and daughter, Grace, completely crazy.

Dave’s newest book, More Republic, Less Cowbell, examines how modern politics rewards noise rather than judgment—and how American institutions can still channel disagreement into productive self-government. The book is available in hardcover, paperback, e-book, and audiobook formats.

Visitors will also find Dave’s earlier book, The Art of the Compromise, which explores the long American tradition of governing through negotiation, coalition, and imperfect but durable agreements.
To be clear, Dave is no Shakespeare. Nevertheless, he hopes the ideas in these books might help nudge American democracy a little closer to better days.
