We have a lot of exciting news to share!
First, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of our new lecture and discussion series, “Donuts for Democracy.” Our first gathering will take place on Saturday, May 10, at the Cedar Bluff Branch of the Knox County Library. We’ll kick things off at 10:00 AM — and yes, there will be free donuts waiting for you!

The morning will feature a brief, 20-minute lecture focused on the first chapter of my book, The Art of the Compromise. After that, we’ll open the floor for an open discussion. It’s a free, community-friendly event designed to bring people together around ideas of unity, compromise, and citizenship. I hope you’ll join us — and bring a friend or two!
On another note, I want to send a big thank you to everyone who made last weekend’s Conyers Book Festival such a memorable experience. It was wonderful reconnecting with old friends, like David Patton and his two boys, and making new ones as well. Our Warped Minds tent was busy all day, and I’m so grateful for the interest and support for The Art of the Compromise.

There’s much more to come, and I’m excited to continue building this community with you. Thanks for being part of the journey — and I hope to see you on May 10th!
